So this Wednesday, Cooking Mama 3: Shop & Chop came out.  I am a huge huge fan of this series, although I wasn’t a huge fan of the Wii version.  I thought this review would be a short and sweet one.

So here is what I liked:

• new techniques to prepare food – they have all the old ones but some of them have a few twists to them
• doing the picture diaries – not sure if they had this the last version because I honestly never messed with it til now
• supermarket mini game – where you have to find items for Mama
• the Let’s Match mini game – where you can mix two different ingredients and make something different without knowing the steps

Things I hated:

• too short – I played the whole game in less than a day (gold/silver coin on all the recipes)
• when changing some of the accessories some of them don’t always come off so they look silly on Mama

Overall, I love Cooking Mama so I may be a little bias, but if you like the series and want something that’s fun and relaxing to unwind then get it!
