We got a chance to stop by EA’s booth, where they had Skate 3. As all the other Skate games, this one is just as great, following the story line and now having your character try to build on his franchise and company. There are plenty of great features in this game, like the park creator and improvements on the object inverter. The coolest part I think is that this time around they used the PS3 as their lead platform! Also this series will have Real Time aspects, like you can set up a blog on EA’s site and pair it up with your company in the game and grow a fan base through the site and in the game too, which helps your character’s company sell more boards, which is the main focus on this game.
We got to talk with one of the head producers Cuz (pictured) and he said that he loves this game the most besides the fact that he’s been on this from the start and its his baby. But he said that he loves that this game is going to have a lot of real time aspects (like we said before) that really gets the gamers really involved in their player’s company. Which we loved too. Skate 3 is slated to come out in May 2010 for both XBOX and PS3
