Ninjatown: Trees of Doom is finally out for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The game is absolutely great! Although simple in design, its still totally addictive. Although I was looking forward to another Ninjatown tower defense game, Trees of Doom is lots of fun. The object of the game is to climb the trees as far as you can, from the looks of it its never ending. Along the way, there are numerous obstacles, streaming areas of “death” sap, flying devils, syrup devils, and “poking” wee devils (that’s what I’ve seen so far), there are also power-ups in the game, like the teleport ball, candy, and the flying mustache! Touching any of the baddies will be the end of wee ninja, unless you have eaten a piece of candy, where in that case you aren’t harmed.
Another great feature to the game is the addition to the plus+ network, for the most part I’m not a fan of their network just because its riddled with ads, that drive me nuts. But in Trees of Doom, its just so that you can contact to see leaderboards and to see how your friends are doing, all of mine are totally killing my score (which is the height in which you reach before dying).
At a price of just 1.99 for the app, its totally worth the purchase, especially if you love the Ninjatown series. Now all we need to do is get Southpeak (or any developer at that) to make another Ninjatown game!
