Review: NanoBlock (sponsored by ThinkGeek.com)

NanoBlock, at first I thought they were bootleg LEGO.  Then I did more research, they are smaller than LEGO blocks, there about 5x smaller, maybe even more.  There seems to be more popularity over in Japan where they are from but still getting some love here in the States.  After a couple of Google searches later, I found out that ThinkGeek.com sells them and they were nice enough to send me a set to try out and review. I ended up picking the hardest set they had the Neuschwanstein Castle, which contains about 550 pieces, and when I finish it will be 3″ x 3″ x 3″!  I thought the best way to show the building process was a time lapse, mind you this is my first time doing it.  After finishing it I felt super accomplished.  At one point I had to bust out the tweezers, that’s how small the pieces.  If you love LEGO, and want more of a challenge I suggest getting Nano Blocks.  You can get them through ThinkGeek.com here, or you can surf eBay and find more exclusive and bigger sets there as well.
