Sony Pictures Acquires Assassin’s Creed Film Rights

Sony’s film division has closed a deal to adapt and distribute Ubisoft Games premier game franchise Assassin’s Creed. It seems Sony won the bid over other studios, like Universal, due to allowing Ubisoft to maintain a good portion of creative control over the development of the property. The film studio has already had several successful video games adapted into film such as the Resident Evil franchise, Silent Hill, as well as movie versions of Uncharted and inFamous under development. This is a pretty good deal for gamers who would love to see some hidden blade action on the big screen, so who do you think would make a good Desmond/Altair/Ezio?
