Here is the rundown of what cam out of the Apple conference today:
- iOS 5.1 available today
- Siri in Japan available today
- New AppleTV – new interface, but still won’t be iOS.
- iTunes supports 1080p (FINALLY)
- iPad – Retina Display (we knew this) – A5X processor is confirmed, quad-core graphics – 5 megapixel iSight camera – autofocus/white balance – face detection – advanced optics with IR filter – voice dictation – 4G LTE (if you don’t go Wi-Fi only, supported carriers – Verizon, Rogers, Bell, Telus and AT&T). – available March 16th!!
- iPad Pricing – If you want 4G it’s $629, $729 and $829. We’re talking $499 for 16GB, 32GB is $599 and 64GB for $699.

The increase in speed and that pretty pretty retina display really got me hyped but I’ll be waiting till later this year to upgrade (as much as it saddens me lol).
