Courts rule on Shepard Fairey’s “Hope” poster

Shepard Fairey‘s ordeal in regards to Obama “Hope” poster have come to a close. Originally expected to see jail time, the artist’s sentence was lessened due to his involvement with charity work and from the number of letters of support received. Now sentenced to pay a $25,000 fine with two years of probation, the case now serves as another example of what can and cannot be considered as fair use. Honestly was it that bad, what do you guys think?
