Q-Games releases album?

Although Q-Games is most popularly known for its innovative video game collaborations with Nintendo, Sony, and Q’s own PixelJunk series, a small group of troubadours within the iconic studio have been making a name for themselves outside of the game industry and in the field of music. Over the course of the past year, The Electric Bends have released two albums, and been featured on legendary electronic pioneer Alex Paterson’s (of The Orb) Chewey Choosedays Radio Show.

The band –Q-Games’ founder Dylan Cuthbert (synth, bass), Eddie Lee (guitar), Kalin (keys, synth), Paul Leonard (keys, synth), Jaymin Kessler (bass), and new additions James Mielke (drums) and guest tabla player, Sagar Patel– share a love of prog-rock, synth-pop, and New Wave bands. These disparate influences cohere into a singular, electric whole during their midday jam sessions, and what started as a few friends shredding together transformed into something special.

The Q guys have been hard at work on the latest Electric Bends album, Plastic Fantastic. Well, the album is great.
