(Warning: The video I posted was taken from a Twitch broadcast that I did.  It has strong language and content – but doesn’t have much spoilers in it)

Grand Theft Auto V was released earlier this week, and although I’m only scratched the surface of the game I will say that I have enough to make a good review of the game for you guys.  So I took the time to strip the controller from my hands and give you a review of the game.

So here goes: LOVEs:

  • The firing mechanics – its like RDR + MP3 = GTAV (how did I just get math into my review, I don’t know?!)
  • Transitioning between the 3 main characters
  • How the stories intertwine between the 3 main characters
  • My puppy Chops + iFruit integration
  • All the non mission activities – I spend more time playing around in the side missions and exploring more than anything – this map is HUGE!

HATEs:

  • Driving – yes I know this is Grand Theft Auto (but I’m horrible HORRIBLE at driving in games – its not you Rockstar its me)
  • iFruit app – that dog is too damn needy and not enough points to do things in the app
  • No multiplayer right at release – but it’s okay I’ll let it slide R* – I still love you
  • Game doesn’t really explain how to reply to emails that the main characters gets

If you wanna check me out playing more GTA V – I stream most of my adventures on Twitch – on Tuesday Nights however this week I’ve streamed like way more just for this game!  Clearly I love the game and recommend picking it up – I personally would get the PS3 version … one disk less hassle.  Also if you want you could really wait and play online multiplayer coming out October 1st.  Stay tuned for the multiplayer review later in October! Grand Theft Auto V is currently available for XBox 360 & Playstation 3 now.
