ESL, the world’s largest, independent eSports brand, in partnership with Activision and Sledgehammer Games, is excited to host a Pro Bootcamp to introduce players to their forthcoming title, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. In a gesture showing the companies’ commitment to players, August 13-17 will become a chance for both the pros and the community to get hands on experience with the new game. The event promises to be a grand spectacle as each day, ESL will focus on one of several new and exciting features.

In addition to the daily feature shows, 12 of the best Professional Call of Duty teams will make the trip to Cologne to practice on the new game and participate in a series of showmatches. The teams will come from 8 different regions: US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Benelux, and Nordics. This Pro Bootcamp gives us a chance to show the potential of the new title to really incorporate the audience’s desires. We’re super excited to see how the Pros handle playing on the new title and what sort of interesting plays they can make. This event is hopefully just the first of many Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare events to come,” said David Hiltscher, Vice President Gaming Communities at ESL.
The whole event will take place in Hall 6, B40 at the Cologne Exhibition Centre and is open for the public to attend as live spectators, or online at Twitch.tv. You can find more information about the event at www.pro.eslgaming.com/callofduty/
