[Review] Grand Theft Auto V (PS4)

The Next Generation Character Creator

So I got the chance to review GTA V on the Playstation 4, since I didn’t really get to play the last-gen version that we got. I must say that from watching cast from some of the other members of Bifuteki. I am glad that I waited. When I first loaded the game it just felt that this was the way to play it. The detail of the characters, trees, vehicles, and all, were spot on. When I had a chance I just walked around Los Santos and it feels like a living city with in the game. The interactions by other AI characters are pretty good. Traffic seemed to pretty much be spot on with different times of the day. Like during rush hour traffic is pretty dense, while during business hours traffic is a not so much. Driving has been improved but still should be tweaked a bit.  For those of you who did play GTA V on the last gen, you can port your character over.  So if you played on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, you can port over to Xbox One or PlayStation 4, no matter which version you were on.

LOVES:

  • Porting over my old character from PS3 to PS4 (well more like Sc00by’s character) but it’s a great option for those loyal customers
  • 30 man lobbies = more mayhem
  • Beautiful graphics.
  • Faster loading times.
  • Love the use of the Dualshock 4 light when your wanted level goes up.

HATES:

  • Game saves are tricky, make sure you save on your own using the cellphone.
  • Still would love to see those that are in a room together stay in a room together after playing multiplayer games.
  • Heists, where are you?!

Still haven’t picked up Grand Theft Auto V on a next gen console, get it here.
