After playing Enter the Gungeon for about a week now, I’m in love. I have a hidden passion for roguelikes, ever since I played Risk of Rain. There is something about them, however with that said oddly enough I can’t really get into Binding of Isaac. If you’ve been living in a dungeon (see what I did there), Enter the Gungeon is a gunfight dungeon crawler following a band of misfits seeking to shoot, loot, dodge roll and table-flip their way to personal absolution by reaching the legendary Gungeon’s ultimate treasure: the gun that can kill the past. Select a hero and battle your way to the bottom of the Gungeon by surviving a challenging and evolving series of floors filled with the dangerously adorable Gundead and fearsome Gungeon bosses armed to the teeth. With that being said, here we go!!
LOVEs:
- All the gundead!!
- Replay-ability
- Some of the weird puzzles / unknowns in the game (so far)
DISLOVEs:
- In co-op, the second player doesn’t get to change their player
- Throughout the game there was this weird humming noise, not sure if it happens on the PC version, but on the PS4 version we heard it
Don’t have Enter the Gungeon yet? You can get it on PC or PSN now!
