Primal Carnage: Extinction has released an all-new game mode on Steam called Hunt, allowing gamers to face off against the ultimate dino villain: the mighty velociraptor. The update is automatically available to users on PC via Steam, just in time for a summer of carnage-filled gaming thrills. Primal Carnage: Extinction is the only game of its kind and gamers’ choice for human vs. dinosaur battles, and this summer it’s all about teaming up for high-octane multiplayer action.

In addition to the wildly popular original game modes (Team Deathmatch, Get to the Chopper, Survival and Free Roam), Hunt allows a team of humans to face off against a powerful Hunt Raptor with a collar that allows it to become invisible. One player is randomly chosen to be the cloaked Raptor, whose objective is to take out a team of humans. If the humans survive for just five minutes, they win. However, if the Hunt Raptor kills off the whole team, the Hunt Raptor wins and gets to play as the Raptor again. If a human kills the raptor before time runs out, that human then becomes the supreme predator – the next Hunt Raptor.

With customizable gaming features including their Steam and level editors, Primal Carnage: Extinction is forging a new pathallowing users to tailor and even create their own experience as well as journey through the game. With the level editor, users can design their own levels and maps while the Steam editor allows gamers to create their own skins for a truly personalized dino experience. Not to mention, many themed and seasonal DLC packs are available for users to enjoy.

The perfect combination of easy, fun and fast-paced action, Primal Carnage: Extinction features unique dinosaur gameplay, specialized human classes, and an endless amount of thrilling “how will we survive” gameplay situations that are created by the clashes between humans and dinosaurs. Users are able to choose from 10 dinosaur classes, including the mighty T-Rex, deadly Raptors, and high-flying Pteranadon following a survival of the fittest model. With almost 100,000 users, Primal Carnage: Extinction has quickly attracted a large fan base of users experiencing the revolutionary dino vs. human action.

All summer long, not only can users play as their favorite dinosaur or mercenary, but they can cooperate with other players working together to defeat the opposing team in a variety of gameplay modes. Plus with the Extinction Editor, players are able to create content that can be shared with the community using Steam Workshop. With this feature, when it comes to creating new skins and cosmetics, players can submit to a workshop curation system where other players can vote on them. If the developer approves them, the creator will be able to make money off the in-game sales. Users are sure to have a personalized gaming experience with PC:E playing with unique game modes, characters, special themed packs, editors and more to come.
