Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 players will have the opportunity to win a trip to CEOtaku in next month’s Overdrive Series, a four-week tournament hosted by Stream.Me in association with fighting game community legend Alex Valle and Level Up Productions. To register to participate click here.
The action will kick off with qualifiers on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 6:00pm PT, just days after the Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2‘s June 1 PC release. Throughout the month, pools will take place each Monday and will be followed with Top 8 Finals on Tuesdays beginning at 7:00pm PT.
The online tournament is free to enter and open to PC players age 13 and older across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Participants must have a wired connection with a minimum of 3Mbps upload speed.
Each week, Top 8 Finalists each will be awarded points, with the eventual champion winning free travel and lodging to CEOtaku at the Wyndham Resort in Orlando, Florida this September.
Overdrive Series will be hosted by Alexander “Octopimp” Gross and Luis “Rynge” Avila and broadcast live on Stream.Me, a video platform that gives viewers the ability to simultaneously view multiple players and casters in up to 4K HD video running at 60 frames-per-second.
Stream.Me also allows users to blend audio from several streams and combine chat rooms from different sources, granting audiences unmatched control over their experience with Stream.Me’s built-in multi-channel and multi-chat options.
