INDIE MEGABOOTH CURATORS REVEAL LINEUP FOR PAX WEST 2019 SHOWCASE

The Indie MEGABOOTH (IMB) organizers have revealed their 8th Annual PAX West Showcase lineup, taking place August 30 through September 2, 2019, at the Washington State Convention Center. This year’s IMB Showcase will feature nearly 70 titles from independent game developers representing 14 different countries. To celebrate the official showcase reveal, the IMB curation organizers have released a teaser trailer listing most of the titles that fans can expect to play during the four-day event: https://youtu.be/XtCv90QWbZo

A long-form IMB PAX West gameplay montage video, that will feature all games — at least those that have been announced — is scheduled to release next week along with the final IMB floor plan that maps out the individual MEGABOOTH booths in IMB’s massive area on the 4th floor in the convention center.

“We’re very excited about returning to PAX West in Seattle over Labor Day weekend! It’s one of our favorite video game events in North America, and we’re bringing an all-star International line-up of indie games for fans to discover,” said Kelly Wallick, CEO and founder of Indie MEGABOOTH. “The MEGABOOTH has become a hub of inspiration and offers camaraderie that PAX attendees love to check out year after year.  It’s with the support of our dedicated volunteer network, our generous Alumni dev teams and sponsors that we’re able to keep coming back in a bigger — and better — way each year. I can speak with confidence that we’re pumped to welcome the newcomers to the IMB community and we hope that attendees carve out time to get a chance to play these stellar indie titles and meet the developers behind each game.”

IMB showcases are only possible due to the generosity of sponsorships and partnerships from companies that value the importance of creating a sustainable independent game development ecosystem. It is thanks to returning Platinum Sponsors at ID@Xbox, PlayStation, and TapTap Games, along with Gold Sponsors at Unreal Engine/Epic Games, Oculus, and Tencent Games, plus Discord (Silver Sponsor) that the MEGABOOTH continues to be a resource for so many international dev teams. Special thanks to Razer for providing hardware to IMB’s MINIBOOTH teams and to iam8bit (IMB’s official merch partner) and Kartridge (platform partner) for their support.
