On June 11, the 9th annual PC Gaming Show unleashed a barrage of trailers, announcements and new footage from some of the most exciting projects being developed for the world’s most powerful gaming platform. Broadcast to millions around the world via Twitch, YouTube, Steam, and China’s Bilibili, this year’s event showcased the boundless creativity, humor, and technical brilliance of the PC gaming scene. Viewers also got to see long-standing host Sean “Day[9]” Plott’s hopes of using AI to become the new overlord of summer gaming showcases dashed by his co-host Frankie Ward.
More than 20 never-before-seen games were revealed during the two-hour stream, including Earthless (Blackbird Interactive/Team17), Last Train Home (Ashborne Games), Chimera (Creepy Jar), Sand (tinyBuild), and Dread Pilots (Klei Entertainment). Viewers also saw new trailers, interviews, or first gameplay footage for games like Dune: Awakening, Pax Dei, The Invincible, Warhaven, Park Beyond, and Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin.
