Create a Cozy Frog-topia in Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge on PC and Consoles Now

Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge, the cozy frog sanctuary farming sim developed by Humble Reeds and published by Armor Games Studios, springs into action on PC via SteamNintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S following this past Saturday’s Wholesome Direct.

Return home as Cleo, an adult yearning for a break from her mundane day-to-day, as she reconnects with Axel, her caring childhood friend known for his love of frogs. Rebuild their local wetlands and foster a home for frogs of all varieties in a restoration project filled with a colorful cast of characters working towards a wholesome goal.

Hop into a cozy farmland by collecting more than 500 adorable amphibians across eight species. Discover each one’s food preferences, specific color patterns, and unique traits, then breed them for repopulation and research. Capture ‘em all (on film, not with a net!) by photographing each frog throughout three distinct biomes and log them in the handy Frogedex.

Create a peaceful home for all frog-kind by forming ponds, growing plants, and harvesting precious crops. Place comfy furniture, slippery slides, and refreshing pools to attract new visitors to the wetlands. Gather resources and craft goods for sale at shops to earn more funds to improve the frogs’ lovely new habitat.

After the main story concludes, work to complete the Frogedex, decorating the refuge, and restoring the wetlands. Collect sociable swamp dwellers of all kinds and watch their home flourish in a vibrant watercolor art style complimented by a cozy, soothing soundtrack.

“The comforting wetlands of Kamaeru are a great way to unwind and escape from daily life,” said Dan McNeely, CEO & Founder of Armor Games Studios. “As cozy gamers all over the world restore the wetlands in Cleo’s story, we hope it inspires a greater appreciation for nature, the ecosystem we live in, and a drive to protect the froggy friends we make along the way.”

Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge launches on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S now for $19.99 in English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese. For more information, follow Kamaeru and Armor Games Studios on Twitter/X, and visit the official website.
