Capybara Games, the award-winning development studio behind Below, Grindstone and Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP has announced their new project: Find Your Words, a short adventure that invites players to explore a colorful summer camp as a child learning to communicate without speech.
Players will be able to trek through scenic campgrounds brimming with wildlife, and build a community one friendship at a time. As the game’s lush world unveils, they’ll collect symbols for their communication binder, understand that different combinations of symbols have unique meanings, and uncover new interactions and activities. Later, as friendships deepen, players will discover the lovable quirks of their camp friends.
Find Your Words will be available for free, and was created by two parents celebrating their kids’ journeys to find their voices. “We wanted to shine a light on communication differences and give players an opportunity to experience what it’s like to use a simplified version of a common AAC tool,” said co-creator Jon Maur.

This uplifting game celebrates small moments of delight and the joy of forging new connections, through world-exploring and problem solving. “At the heart of the game is our hope for players to learn a little more about the different ways we connect as humans beyond speech,” said co-creator Vic Nyugen.
Find Your Words was revealed during the Wholesome Snack showcase and will be released first on Steam in 2026 as a free game with an optional supporter edition.
Players can wishlist Find your Words on Steam, stay tuned for more details on Capybara Games’ Website, Bluesky and Youtube.
