One Piece is Back in Boston ON MAY 12 for Theme EVENTat Fenway PARK


This May, Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew are back in Boston! Legendary anime studio Toei Animation returns to Fenway Park this spring with a Boston Red Sox X ONE PIECE Theme Night — marking its third consecutive ONE PIECE location-based entertainment experience, which has now become an annual celebration of the ONE PIECE franchise for East Coast anime fans. This year’s collaboration with the Boston Red Sox takes place on Tuesday, May 12, for the team’s match-up with the Philadelphia Phillies.

“We’re truly excited to be back at Fenway Park on May 12 to present our third ONE PIECE event with the famed Boston Red Sox,” said Lisa Yamatoya, Senior Director & Head of Marketing for Toei Animation Inc. “Our Boston Red Sox X ONE PIECE themed events have now become a highly anticipated annual ONE PIECE celebration for anime fans both in Beantown and across the East Coast. We look forward to another sellout!”

Tickets to ONE PIECE Night on May 12 are on-sale now and are available for fans to purchase exclusively at either redsox.com/onepiece or the Fenway Park ticket office. Both General Admission and VIP theme ticket options will be offered once again.  All theme ticket holders will receive a commemorative ONE PIECE Boston Red Sox bomber jacket that features a Straw Hat Crew Jolly Roger on front and a chibi-style Monkey D. Luffy in Red Sox jersey with baseball and glove on back. In addition, VIP theme ticket holders will also receive a special edition plushie of Wally the Green Monster dressed especially for this occasion.

Like past events, this year’s ONE PIECE Night is expected to sell out, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets now!
