Put the textbooks away. Finals Week, the chaotic co-op cheating simulator, will launch on Steam on October 29, 2026.

Set during the final week of exams at a delightfully dysfunctional 90s-style school, Finals Week challenges groups of friends to pass a series of increasingly difficult tests by doing absolutely anything except studying.

Copy answers from classmates. Pass textbooks around. Whisper over proximity chat. Send answers through your indestructible cellphone. Distract the professor. Crawl through secret passages. And if another student refuses to share their notes… well, diplomacy is optional.

Just don’t get caught.

The teacher patrols the classroom, listens for suspicious conversations and has a worrying talent for throwing erasers with deadly accuracy. Get busted and you may find yourself equipped with increasingly ridiculous restraints designed to make cheating significantly harder – though never impossible.

Cheat together, fail together. Finals Week is built around co-op chaos. Everyone passes, or everyone fails.

Players will need to communicate and improvise using an increasingly questionable arsenal of cheating tools, including:

  • cellphones, walkie-talkies and binoculars;
  • paper balls and throwable objects;
  • textbooks hidden around the classroom;
  • a pen that doubles as a tranquilizer blowgun;
  • classroom equipment, secret routes and environmental distractions;
  • and, naturally, each other.

Players can also draw on almost anything – desks, walls, sheets of paper and even their friends – creating plenty of opportunities for useful exam notes and significantly less useful artwork.

Between exams, squads can hang out in the school hall, play basketball, mess around with the environment, plan their next strategy and unlock new outfits, hairstyles and colors.
