Dreamhaven™ and developer Secret Door™ today unveiled Shadowstone™, a 1-4 player tactics roguelite game. Shadowstone is a run-based experience where players take command of multiple heroes on a quest to escape monster-ridden ruins and save their corrupted realm from dark magic. Survival hinges on players deploying each hero’s unique abilities, mastering powerful party compositions, and adapting their strategies every run. Shadowstone launches into Steam Early Access in 2026 for $14.99 and is available to wishlist on Steam and Epic Game Store now.

Built for both solo play and cooperative online multiplayer, a run of Shadowstone starts with players selecting up to 4 heroes to face the ruins’ horrors and fight their way from the depths. Each attempt presents a new challenge with an endless array of randomized rooms and monsters. Players must find powerful synergies across heroes and smartly navigate each battlefield to escape as a team.

Shadowstone takes place in the shadowstone-infested ruins of the Sunderlands, the fantastical animal world introduced in Secret Door’s Sunderfolk™. Shadowstone is a standalone experience from Sunderfolk that requires no experience with its campaign. Fans will recognize some returning heroes, including the hulking Berserker and chaotic Pyromancer, alongside new ones, such as the mystical Witch.

Shadowstone’s key features include:

• Master Tactical Gameplay: Navigate each battlefield with deliberate positioning in the turn-based tactical gameplay of Shadowstone. Achieve victory by using each hero’s unique skills, such as duplicating items as the Witch or charging as the Berserker to displace enemies into dangerous lava.
• Endless Combinations to Play: Each attempt to escape the shadowstone-infested ruins presents a new nightmare with an endless array of randomized rooms and monsters. Every run requires its own strategy based on a constantly evolving pool of skill cards, versatile equipment, and adaptive powerups.
• Powerful Hero Synergies: Build powerful synergies by upgrading and selecting complementary spells across heroes. Execute complex multi-hero ability combinations to devastate enemy monsters.
• 1-4 Player Co-op: Take command of multiple heroes solo, or band together with up to four friends in online multiplayer. Mastering the strengths and weaknesses of different party compositions is essential to survive against the horrors shrouded in shadowstone power. 

Dreamhaven and Secret Door also announced that the free 2.0 update for Sunderfolk™ will launch on existing platforms and Epic Games Store on March 10, 2026. This major update adds new content, including the tank-style Vanguard hero and two new sets of missions, to all platforms and two of the most requested PC features: mouse and keyboard controls and online multiplayer. 

Sunderfolk’s free 2.0 update adds:

• Mouse & Keyboard Controls: Sunderfolk’s 2.0 update overhauls the game’s user interface on PC to support mouse and keyboard controls for solo play and online multiplayer while maintaining phone controller support for couch co-op play. 
• PC Online Multiplayer: PC players can team up with their friends through online player-hosted sessions. Each player must have their own copy of Sunderfolk.
• The Vanguard Hero: Vanguard expands Sunderfolk’s roster of playable heroes to seven and adds a small but mighty brawler for adventurers who prefer playing both offensively and defensively. The Vanguard’s burning spirit makes them fit for the heart of battle, where they unleash devastating blows while serving as a shield for their allies.
• More Missions: Through Sunderfolk’s One Shot Mode, players can tackle the “Sacred Sand” and “Arena Rumble” sets of missions that connect as a continuous experience. “Sacred Sand” includes four missions in which players must help the Sacred Bug reclaim her lost home from a powerful enemy. “Arena Rumble” is a three-mission tournament where players battle for glory in the Ogre Arena.
