Bandwagon, Remote Control, Wreck Runners, and Echobreaker Join the Convergence Games Showcase

Today’s Convergence Game Showcase featured four delightful morsels for indie fans: the world reveal and playtest announcement for survivors-lite Bandwagon, a brand new demo for sci-fi horror typing adventure Remote Controlrelease date for neon-drenched speedrunner Echobreaker, and the launch of co-op extraction game Wreck Runners.

Bandwagon is a musical twist on the survivors-lite genre from Bippinbits, the developer behind PVKK: Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant and Dome Keeper.

Don’t be fooled by the name; Bandwagon is far from trend-chasing. The band in question is a motley crew of woodland creatures, each contributing their own unique sound to a procedurally-generated tune you’ll use to spread joy throughout the land.

Rather than fending off fanged nasties, you’re beset from all angles by a horde of grumps that are in dire need of cheering up. Each pluck of a chord or toot on a woodwind will help turn their frowns upside down, with game-changing upgrades and new band members to collect that will transform your sound from a dainty ditty to brilliant ballad.

Hop on the Bandwagon by joining the Discord, or following Bippinbits on XBluesky Instagram or TikTok.

Wreck Runners, the co-op extraction looter from Disruptive Games, is out now! Delve into the Bermuda Triangle with up to three friends and haul as much as you can back to your vehicle before you get lost to the encroaching fog. Use your hard-won earnings to access better equipment, upgrades, and a range of cosmetics to show off to your fellow runners.

Pilot your all-terrain aquatic vehicle, the ORCA, through the fog to locate precious salvage, then venture out on foot and collect it in chaotic physics-driven runs. Communicate, weave your way around otherworldly dangers, and above all, maintain faith in your employer, the 100% benevolent, lacking-in-ulterior-motive Trustwell Company.

Wreck Runners is coming to PC via Steam, as well as Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on July 16, 2026.

Remote Control from Canteen Games sees you puppeteer human workers and use them to uncover the mystery of what happened aboard the abandoned research ship the Pelican. Select a crew member to possess and type commands to navigate the perilous corridors of the Pelican, all rendered in eerie lo-fi PSX-era graphics.

You may be safe at your desk, but the dangers you are submitting your thralls to are all too real. The wrong move could see them fall prey to a nasty workplace accident, or one of the slithering horrors stalking the ship. You only have twelve proxies at your disposal, so consider each keystroke carefully.

Remote Control has a new demo out now, and just revealed its launch window of Fall 2026.
